I have 40 acres of land on which I mainly grow sugarcane, wheat and paddy. When I wanted to start a paddy nursery, I met up with the TKS Krishi Prerak and enrolled as a Tata Kisan Parivar Member (TKPM). Through him (Prerak) I learnt about the complete package of practices for paddy.

I was given specific advice on dosage requirements of speciality products like Paras calcium nitrate which have given me outstanding results. The grains are uniform; they look appealing and have improved my yield to 28 quintals/ acre, much higher than ever before! I have been trying to see what crops I should cultivate and that is when I was advised by our TKS doctor sahib to evaluate growing flowers on my land. Under their guidance I started with gladiolas and used Paras calcium nitrate and its organic fertiliser Bhumika.
