Tata Chemicals bags ICMA excellence
award

The Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association
(ICMA) on Thursday conferred the ICMA award for excellence
in Management of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) for
the year 2004-05 on Tata Chemicals (TCL), Babrala.
This award is given in recognition of the achievements and
work done by an organisation in the same field.
While receiving the award, Homi Khusrokhan, executive director
of Tata Chemicals said, "This is indeed a proud moment
for all of us at the company. Our organisation has always
demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of the employees,
stakeholders and the environment."
"The Babrala plant is an example of a truly world-class
plant," he said.
This award has been awarded the five star rating and the
'Sword of honour' from the British Safety Council consecutively
two times in a row, Khusrokhan added.
Further he said, "The Indian Chemical Manufacturers
Association award reinforces our belief in our Management
of Health, Safety and Environment endeavours and Tata Chemicals
is truly committed to this cause."
